I been following that thru out the days on the news quite amazing! That is so hi and the atmosphere was so thin that it allowed his terminal velocity to pass super sonic which is amazing. I'm glad everything held together I don't know how that space suit of his held up against friction with the atmosphere at super sonic speeds but they definitly knew what they were doing. Cool stuff.

Cool he had the funds to put the show together and the nads to DO it, but in the end, it's a pretty useless accomplishment that I didn't waste one second on, beyond this post.

Back before Blizzard was forced to produce massive amounts of anti-lamer patches, we could record games and play them back or give so someone else can play back. Back then, replays of recorded games between Gosu players were highly sought for education purposes. These players perform amazing and multiple feats. The skydiver kinda just let gravity do its thing.

As a life achievement it had value, because it was REAL. Gaming feats aren't quite so impressive. I could delude myself into thinking all the games I've beaten and dominated mean something in the real world, and pretend someone else thought it was significant, but I'm not quite that pretentious.

They werent on a physical chess board but the skills and physical effort to manage the game were very real. Important to the world? No. Either way, you're making absolutes from things that are subjective. Necrosis MHS wrote: Gaming feats aren't quite so impressive. I remember a Siege game on Fri 13th map where you bragged we wouldn't have survived if you hadn't joined and 'saved' us. That was pretty laughable after surviving that map alone multiple times. So you DO put some importance on your gaming skill/contribution or you wouldn't have said anything at all.
