This map is starting to become very large I think it will end up being a bit disorienting. The map will have you exploring from all directions. Lots of random generated geometry should make this map feel more natural instead of symmetrical shapes and a predictable layout. Right now I'm trying to make various landmarks out in the distance to explore one I'm working on right now is a radio tower. later I might include telephone lines or something.

Hi! it's been a while, I have made some updates to the map.
I am creating a vast environment outside of the main base where the core will be at. It will be a vast area all around to explore and that there is no single direction you are to travel in. There is no direction no clue you decide where to explore. I'm thinking of having the enemy's core located in a different location each game so that the team must explore this desolate land.

New satellite dish I made (pain in the @$$)

One problem with the random core idea is Protectors and SPs. Wherever it randomly goes needs to be out of sight of general build points. In addition, its area may conflict with Monster Spawn Points in covering them or being found in a weaker pocket of enemies. That may just be my issue, my appreciation for balance and order probably wouldn't blend well with this chaotic map.

I think you misunderstood my concept. The core will remain a static object it's just that at the start of the game it will be in a random designated place
