I just noticed this. Unreal Engine 4 is now available to everyone for free, and all future updates will be free! Yes. I guess you've been a little late to know about that.  But I can post link here so anyone can get started. I'll post a launcher (which is familiar to steam but not exactly steam program) and it will let you choose to download and automatically update.
