The biggest thing I don't understand about the players who don't like Nali Weapons is why are they so quick to completely shutdown and boycott them instead of trying to learn how to use them and then make their judgement. I just don't understand, Me personaly I could go either or Exu or Nali I know how to use both. If it's a technical problem like you keep getting kicked out because your UT is trying to load the packages and keeps timing ot then that's understandable.

Anyways, We will see how this goes with the players controling the weapons on the server in a vote.
For now if you want to play some games of gauntlet you don't need to boycott UT entirely, There are in face 2 other Gauntlet servers out there that are running Exu Weapons I think...

Yes, heaven forbid it takes more than 1 click to get anywhere... But on another note, it was great fun when the server toggled weekly between Nali and EXU. Both types of players got to play their choice. Kinda like how some players just want to kill monsters while others want to siege. Maybe special Nali weekends? Like when Blackjack and Nukes would come to visit somtimes!

I think Nali weapons would be great in the right circumstance of game. Regardless of votes we'll see how well Nali weapons do. It'll show on server use. eg: enjoyment will see the server use climb. But I have a feeling the votes will show in favor of Nali weapons, but in reality there will be less people playing on the server or should I say people playing for shorter periods due to overwhelming challenge of learning a new play style that they are not use to. For me I'll just stay off the server until normal weapons that I like to use are back in stock. Damn it my be a dry UT week, month or even year for me...lol

Cheers for that, I've been playing on alienclan for short bursts for a while, just my ping is mostly 380+ (more like 500 ping with more players on the server), but still fun. Also they have removed GX4 and GX5 maps completely as of the past week. The only 1 thing that I like on alienclan server is the best, last, current weapons work well. eg: I press Best weapon and I get my best weapon, not the pos jack hammer. I use a BFG and once fired, my last weapon I was using prior comes up in my hand and not the pos jack hammer. But that's about the only like I have for alienclan server. I'll give Killerbee's a shot as I've not tried it yet. Fingers crossed I can stay below the 400 ping mark. Edit: I had no success in connecting to Killerbee's For me I enjoy the game and change in most cases is good. But after playing for 500+ hours then being thrown into a game with new to me weapons, I'm not interested in devoting the time to learn all over again on a sever I once was familiar with. Steep learning curve and lack patience play a major part in it for me. But hey, that's my loss and others gain.. All good.

Just be sure to participate in voting! I didn't know the piston kept jumping in your inventory For me the problem IO have is if I as much as trip over the dream reaver when attacking it imediately jumps into my inventory and I own myself with it same with the Venom X drives me nuts. I would like to have the U4e lightsword replace the piston it's a super awesome weapons you got to see it and you can jump with it like you could with the piston which is why I keep the piston on

I would really like to bind weapons to my keys, then I could actually improve my playing. As it is the whole scroll from best weapon is just so cumbersome when being swarmed by monsters spewing out of gates. Even if I have reaver and I hit Best weapon, I get impact hammer. Yet if I have VenomX and I hit Best weapon I get VenomX. Fire VenoimX or Reaver and I end up with impact hammer in my hand afterwards. Sorry, derailed the thread. I'll look in to voting, but I'm not much for a democracy of game politics. Actually the timing of the whole Nali weapon vote thing is pretty good. Gives me a chance to catch up on some of my newer Borderlands 2 DLC that I haven't played yet. Also I'm needing to get back to the basics, Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge in between...lol
