Just a hello and thank you for the Gauntlet game server.
After playing UT back in early 2000 on 56k dial up, I decided to give it another shot 12 years on.
Couldn't believe people still play it online.
So much has changed game wise, but my ping is about the same as what it use to be in 2000.
200+ (more like 300~700+)
Sorry to the other players who put up with my clueless n00b behavior, let alone my lagging you all out.
But the Gauntlet server just rocks and I find myself addicted to the mindless onslaught of countless monsters.
Gradually getting my head around siege, but I still feel so dopey while playing.
It really makes it hard to play on a server that I get a good ping on,
as other servers seem so boring after busting it up in Gauntlet.
Well hope to see you all around.
